for...FREEDOM. More importantly please come home safe for yourself. Your
life means so much to me, your family, your friends, and we here at

Remember Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path
straight.
Message To Our Troops:
Hi Soldiers and a Blessed Christmas to all of you brave men
and women! I have contact with 2 platoons (1 in Kuwait and 1 in Iraq) plus
individuals who are deployed. I got to meet one of my pen pals when she
came from Iraq for OCS; what a thrill that was!!!! I live in Bend,
Oregon but am visiting my family in California now. I had wrapped packages
last year for the Caring for Troops in Bend. - God bless you
all and keep safe! - Pat S.

Greetings:
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all you serving our country in Iraq
and Afghanistan. I know how hard it is to be away from your loved ones
during this time because my husband just left in November for a second
tour in Iraq within a year. He had to leave me and his 20 month old son
behind. I am so proud of all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Stay safe and come home in one piece to your loved ones. - Denise
Greetings:
Hello Everyone, First and foremost, thank you
from the bottom of a very grateful heart for doing what you do!

lots of laughter! May all your Christmas wishes come true now and
throughout the New Year! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Greetings: A message
to all of you that have committed to defending your country, I salute you.

Greetings: To the men and women of the
Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, all Reserve and Nat'l Guard
units: Each day we read in the media the debate from pundits on
the Patriot Act, NSA reading e:mails and listening to American citizens,
our policy toward torture and much more. There are those who say we should
leave Iraq, while others say only when the job is done. For you in harms
way this can cause considerable discomfiture since many of the positive
accomplishments made possible through your indefatigable efforts do not
get the attention it deserves. This is the nature of democracy.
What is not debatable is that you are opening the
way for the people of Iraq to carve their own pathway that will allow them
to form a system of government free of oppression and in the future to
enjoy the same free expression of freedom and debate that we enjoy here in
America. The majority of Americans are behind you and understand the
importance of your mission.
God bless you for your courage, commitment and
THANK YOU.
Mike and Dianne Brock
Greetings: Greetings and Merry
Christmas, this is just a little note to wish you all to be safe and to
come home soon to your loved ones. I am proud to be an American and to
have you looking out for us. Please take care and God Bless you all.

Greetings: Merry Christmas and
praying the blessings of safety and a wonderful home coming in the New
Year. We appreciate you for being there to protect our freedom. We also
thank your families who give too.
Greetings: Dear Armed Forces members
who are deployed during this Holiday Season. I just want to thank you for
your service and let you know we are all behind you here at home. I know
what a sacrifice it is to be away from your family at any time and during
the holidays it makes it just that much more difficult. My thoughts and
prayers are with all of you. I pray for your safe return to the greatest
country in the world. Thank you very much for your service, we all
appreciate you more than you can know. There are many resources available
for you when you return to help you re-assimilate into society. I hate all
that political correct stuff, so Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy
Kwanza, or Happy Ramadan, whichever you celebrate. God Bless you all and
thank you very much.
Yours truly, Shawn - US Navy Veteran

Greetings: First, I want to thank
each and every one for your commitment which makes me beam with proudness
for our men and women in the military. For all of you, who were not able
to be home with your families, my heart weighs heavy. May you all be
blessed with the spirit of Christmas though being afar and may you
families at home feel that same spirit. I know they may long for you but
they, as the rest of the country, are proud of you all. Merry Christmas
and God Bless you all!!!!!
Greetings: "Our Freedom to
Celebrate, Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice or any holiday focus of
our choosing and the safety with which we enjoy doing so is because men
and women of our armed services have and will continue to put their lives
in harms way to defend all of the freedoms we enjoy. I would like to put
out a special thank you to those of you in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, the
Naval support ships and support bases world wide. Thank you to those who
have, over the last one hundred years, returned home after serving our
country and especially to the families of those who did not."
Thank you and God Bless,
Byron Ames, President
Caring For Troops
Message To Our Troops: Each day I
thank God for what you are doing for us. - Pam
Message To Our Troops: Thanks a lot.
The service you are providing so I can keep my freedom is one-of-a-kind.
Sincerely, Charles
Dear Soldier: Words of thanks,
however powerful or eloquent, will never be an adequate tribute to you,
who is doing so much for our nation, our lives and our families. When
President Lincoln dedicated the battlefield at Gettysburg, he said, "The
world will little note nor long remember what we say here but it WILL
NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY DID HERE.
BECAUSE OF YOUR SACRIFICES AND COURAGE, I NOW LIVE EVERY DAY WITH AN
ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE.
THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR:
- Seamstress, Betsy Ross for the first American
Flag and TO YOU because I am free to proudly fly it.
- Fallen patriots because I was born in freedom
and TO YOU because I'll die in freedom.
- My parents who sacrificed so much for me and
TO YOU who didn't know me …gave even more.
- Police and Fire fighters who keep me safe and
TO YOU for keeping them safe.
- The great U.S. system of roads and Interstate
highways and TO YOU because those roads are clear of mines and bombs.
- Our founding fathers and to Independence Day
celebrations past and TO YOU because I'll celebrate in years to come.
- Our great Judeo-Christian leaders who support
One Nation Under God and TO YOU because I'm free to stand with them.
Soldier, what sets you apart as so truly amazing is because, although
your friends and fellow SOLDIERS made you strong, your enemies made you
even stronger. Most people flee from terrorists. You have been running
towards them. You are fighting bravely through long nights so that I can
sleep comfortably. You are willing to suffer if that's what it takes to
keep our country well. You have gone to war so I can have peace, giving
your all so that I can prosper, and are willing if necessary to die so
that I can live.
You are my hero, my idol, and my friend, and you don't even know me. You
are paying the price for my freedom AS WELL AS MY FAMILY’S and every
breath I take is tribute to your profound accomplishments. My most
fervent prayer is that you never forget that I, and millions like me,
owe their very existence to you.
Voters simply demand good results. Presidents and congressmen promise
them. Legislators support them. Statesmen and Clergymen praise them. But
YOU....YOU are making those results happen! The demands, promises and
dreams of a nation all come true because of you, Soldier.
God bless you and keep you healthy, strong and proud.
Mr. & Mrs. McVay from Yardville - New Jersey
Mr. & Mrs. Hausch - California
Message To Our Troops: Dear Soldier,
It is difficult for me to articulate the appreciation that I have for you.
From the beginning of this nation's existence, others like you have
stepped up to safe guard our constitution and the freedoms it guarantees
for us. Now you are doing your duty, difficult as it may be, so that
freedom as we know it will not cease to exist. You are a hero in my eyes.
I just want to say thank you and that you are being thought of and given
thanks for at this time. Sincerely, Mrs. T.
Message To Our Troops: I just want
to say how proud I am of you and all of your fellow soldiers. I truly love
the USA as much as anyone in the land. To see the effort, hard work and
perseverance put forth by you gives me an overwhelming feeling for all of
you in my heart. I speak for my whole family including my red nose pit
bull terrier, Sadie. I don't know if I can send a picture of her or not, but
I don't want to mess up this letter. Anyway, I can't thank you enough. Even though I have never met you, I do
know you. American to the core. Stay in good spirits because America loves
you. Raymond J. - San Jose, CA

Message To Our Troops:
Hey troops, I want all of you to know that I
know why you are there where you are, to protect and spread freedom. I
can't serve in the Military for reasons I won't say, they just won't take
me, But I wish I could. I also ask for you all, to continue show
love and compassion for all that have suffered under Hussein. And remember
that when you show love and compassion you are a reflection of God's love
for all mankind. God bless you all and God bless America -
Archangel

Message To Our Troops:
Dear American Soldier, Thank you very much
for the sacrifice that you have made to defend freedom and protect the
American people. You are in our thoughts and prayers. There are many
Americans like me that appreciate your values of honor and duty. The book
Back in Action by Capt. Rozelle was very inspiring and it just gives a
glimpse of what you do over there. Hopefully someday I will hear from an
American soldier who is looking for an e-mail pal. Be safe, complete the
mission and come home. - Amy

Message To Our Troops:
The words THANK YOU seem trite but they
really say it all. How can we even assess all you are doing for us to keep
us safe? And how can we even fathom all you are doing for the Iraqi people
to help them be free? It boggles my mind to think that you would suffer so
much, give up so much, toil so much ... to help people you don't even
know. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. God Bless You and God Bless
America. - Peggy
Message To Our Troops:

continues to display the ideals of America. Thank you for sacrificing your
time and your comfort to help protect me and other Americans. I am forever
in your debt. With Love, Bernadette

Theron Rowe, Good morning! I saw

the freedoms we have if it wasn't for people like you who are willing to
sacrifice to ensure those freedoms. Thank you, Theron, for being so

Message:
I am the wife of an active duty Marine of
17 yrs in the Corps. I saw your website thru link with another. I think it
is fabulous what you are doing for the troops that are deployed. When my
husband was in Iraq for the first time, he said that a major concern of
the troops was "how will the folks back home treat us when we come back",
and they were worried that they would be shunned or somehow treated badly
as the Vietnam Vets found. My husband was so relieved when he returned and
found that not only were they not treated badly, but that they were
treating as they are..... returning AMERICAN troops... Here in Oceanside,
CA, which is where Camp Pendleton is, there was a gigantic welcome home
parade, complete with confetti, tanks, and tons of flag flying people. My
husband and his troops were so proud that day....What you are doing is the
same as the parade, making them feel welcomed home, and giving them or
their loved ones a hand when they need it... THANK YOU! Elaine
M.
Message To Our Troops:
Thank you all! We love you and pray for
every day! Be safe! Shannon C.
Message To Our Troops:
First of all
I'd like to say thank you to all of the men and women over in Iraq for
protecting us and everything we have. I'm looking forward to seeing
all of you guys back home. :) Jennie - Redmond, OR.
Message From Our Troops:
To just say thanks isn't enough for the
effort and finances you folks are providing for our comfort. I am
currently in northern Iraq, deployed from Redmond. Your packages are
filled with very useful and thoughtful items that seem to fit our needs
perfectly. It is obvious there has been a great deal of planning and
manpower to make these possible which makes me very humbled at the fact
there are so many back home that are thinking of us. I truly appreciate
your sacrifices however small or large they are. You are all in my daily
prayers and thoughts. B. Miller, US Army
Message To Our Troops:
I would like to just say thanks to all of the
people involved with the CFT group. I am currently serving overseas in
Iraq. I can't say exactly where I am but am alive and well.
All us appreciate your support in our time of need with the thought,
prayers, and all of the numerous items sent to all of us over here. I
would like to especially thank Dan Hulbert for getting a chance to sit
down with you and enjoy the day with you while I was back home. Please
keep us in your hearts, thoughts and prayers as you go about your day back
in good ol' Oregon. I also want to say thanks to my family for your
letters and news from the home front. With all of my love Spc. Robert C.
Message To Our Troops:
I wanted to tell you that you are so wonderful,

and I support what you do! Keep up the good work and stand strong. I miss
you even if I don't know you - America misses you lots! -

Message To Our Troops:
I would like to say thank you to our troops for
ensuring the safety of this nation. Without you, our lives wouldn't mean
near as much as they do now because we may not have them. All of you,
whether you are a soldier, a doctor for the troops, or a chef for the
troops, you are helping to ensure this nation's safety from other
nations. Thank you so much for laying your lives on the line for our
protection. If I had a quarter of the bravery that ya'll have, I would
be right there on the field with you. God bless each and every one
of you, Savannah
Message To Our Troops:

Message From One Of "Our Troops":
Dearest CFT members and Central Oregon Citizens:
Before deploying with G Troop 82nd Cavalry (HVY) I was the Readiness NCO
for the unit. I am now the Platoon Sergeant for 3rd Platoon (without being
to arrogant, the best platoon). We (G Troop) recently received the care
packages you put together, and I believe I speak for everyone we feel that
there is much support from the good people of Central Oregon.
Reading through the letters sent I felt a sincere sense of thanks, both
from our state leadership as well as those who have served before us.
I personally am very proud of the unit, the
sacrifices we make as members of the armed forces have proved themselves,
time and time again, that the United States takes a very strong place in
the world's need for help now and again.
Well my time is up on the computer, however I
would like to say again from my heart, thank you for your support. - Neil
B. - SFC, US Army

Guys: It's people like you who make me proud to be

Other times, you're wonderful, warm caring people who just want to help

be a great thing. Thank you for your selfless service - and for helping to
keep America a free country! God Bless You. With Love, Nancy

Message To Our Troops: I would like to express
my gratitude to all of those serving our country. It is very hard
sometimes for our men to leave their families, miss birthdays of loved
ones, spend the holidays in a different country. However it is so
appreciated, even by those who do not know how to say it or maybe do not
take the time to do so. I will always be grateful for all that you do and
will pray for you every day. I will also pray for the loved ones like
myself that are left behind to constantly live in fear of what the rest of
our lives may hold. I applaud not only the soldiers, but the families of
the soldiers that make such a sacrifice. Thank You and God Bless. Meredith
Browning, Family Program Coordinator, Oregon Army National Guard
Message To Our
Troops: Hey! Thank you to all

Message To Our Troops: I am a resident of Bend and have
had a brother and a son in the military and I know how hard it is to have
family and or friends in harms way. I am very grateful for all that you
are doing to protect our freedom and stop the killing of innocent people.
I am so grateful that I live in a country that values human life. You go
guys.
Message To Our
Troops: To all Army, Marines,
Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard and Navy: Thank you so much
for being a part of the best the world has to offer and the best the world
will see. It's an honor to write to you just to let you know you and
your efforts are so appreciated. I know you're there doing a most
difficult task and you don't need to be reminded by us back home why you
are there. You have an awesome responsibility on your shoulders. I believe
you are fighting for freedom as much as anyone or more in any previous
wars. It could become a very dark world without people like you willing to
sacrifice to uphold the good in this world. Thanks again so very much for
being understanding enough of the value of the fight before you as well as
being so brave and courageous to continue to take the fight to the enemies
of freedom. You are all my heroes!
Message from a Soldier: I
would like to recognize the great people of caring for troops and how well
they have treated me and my team members. I am deployed with the US
Special Forces in Afghanistan. We go to some of the most remote regions of
the country with the Afghan National Army. Some of these people didn't
even know the Russians had left the country, if you can believe that. The
look on the faces of these small children when I give them toys is
priceless. I will try to get picture back there eventually. I always make
sure the local people around here know where the toys came from, and that
it didn't matter whether we were Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or whatever,
because we are all human and every child deserves to simply have a toy,
especially those who live in WAR. Thank you very much. Where there is
despair you have helped to bring hope and happiness. - SSG Holmes
Message To Our

family members, I THANK YOU ALL! Your courage and patriotism is
appreciated, and you are NEVER overlooked. Despite the harsh criticism
that has been made over the war in Iraq and negative news, your sacrifice
is greatly appreciated. I am truly grateful for the decisions you have all
made to preserve our freedom. You are in our hearts and prayers, GOD
BLESS!
Message To Our
Troops: First I would
like to say thank you! I'm originally from Vestavia Hills, AL...and now
live in Mt. Juliet, TN. I now know people from two different states that
are actively in the military or have just gotten back. And it is the same
attitude from every side... we are doing a good deed in Iraq. I'm proud to
know some of the special soldiers that are defending our country. God
bless ya'll! For the soldiers that are still in Iraq or
Afghanistan...thank you for your hard work and selfless duty! It's hard to
imagine people my age (I'm 22) doing something so heroic and so powerful
by changing and effecting the world. It inspires me to do so much more in
my life. Our soldiers are an inspiration to us back in the states. Please
stay safe! We are thinking about you and praying for you. Not a day goes
by that I don't pray for ya'll's safety and quick return! From my family
and friends here in TN--God Bless You!

Thank you for the package. I appreciate you sending it. I shared with the

magazine. I appreciate you sharing your Oregon hospitality with this
Kansas boy and his troops. Please tell my cousin Eric Chandler
specifically, thank you. Thanks, CPT Daugherty

again to the troops for all of the efforts put out there in the field.
While my youngest brother is on the frontlines he is surrounded by others
like him that are committed to doing the right things for the right
reasons. I know that the bad press that the troops get at times are never
a true measure of all the good they are doing and it is important that you
all know that we know you are working hard for us!!!! Thanks Dan for the
hard work and supporting the troops. - Drew H.
