Thank you for your donations and support!
Caring For Troops
Caring For Troops is
Central Oregon's
support league for
locally
connected
men and women
serving overseas.
MISSION STATEMENT: Our
purpose is to support every military member who is
deployed to or stationed at a "hardship" duty location
and who lives in or has ties to Central Oregon. We
will do this, primarily, by providing care packages.
Anything outside of our primary focus must be approved
by the board, and may not go outside the scope of our
purpose. We are pro-troop, war-neutral and
nonpartisan. We support our troops in times of peace
and in times of war.
WHO WE SERVE:
Military members
(see above) who have a connection to Central Oregon:
sons, daughters, spouses, parents, grandchildren,
grandparents, nieces, uncles, girlfriends,
boyfriends, friends etc. We also now support all of
locally deployed National Guard troops.
HOW CAN I HELP?
WRITE A CARD OR NOTE:
These will be included in a care package. Knowing
someone in the community cares is a great gift to
receive.
DONATE ITEMS:
for care boxes, see
needed items list and
drop-off locations.
VOLUNTEER:
help at the pack-ups, work booths at community events,
help with coordinating/planning events, your ideas and
suggestions are welcome.
DONATE SERVICES:
for families of service
members currently deployed (oil changes, lawn mowing,
firewood, repair projects, or other services)
DONATE FUNDS:
to cover mailing expenses and other troop support
related costs.
PRAY: for our
military members and their families
|
PLEASE INFORM us of any
military members with ties to Central Oregon not
currently being supported or any resources you
know of which can be utilized in providing
support.
Needed items, donation sites and
contact information are listed on the reverse
side. Call
(541) 330-4677

Thanks for your support!
