To Caring For Troops:

I can’t believe that it is July already.  We’re in triple-digit weather everyday but I only have to endure it for eight more Sundays.  The hardest part now is keeping the platoon focused on the task at hand for that duration of time. 

For the Fourth, the company had a barbeque in front of the barracks.  The food was great and the near-beer was plentiful.   There weren’t any fireworks, but that’s probably a good thing.
