and everyday, I want you to know that I am thankful for each of you and
will always remember the sacrifices you are making. Please come home safe
and God bless you!! Kelly, Redmond, OR

this message for wanting to do the right thing. Your sacrifice will not go
unappreciated and unnoticed. You have an entire nation of grateful people
behind you 100%--those few who think otherwise aren't worth your time or
attention and definitely fail to speak for the rest of us. God bless all

postcards from home, and to know people really do care. I am with "C"
company 2-162. INF. We are stationed here at Patrol Base Volunteer
in Baghdad. I just wanted to say Thank You. Spc. Josh C.
Message: I would like to express
my gratitude to all of those serving our country. It is very hard
sometimes for our men to leave their families, miss birthdays of loved
ones, spend the holidays in a different country. However it is so
appreciated, even by those who do not know how to say it or maybe do not
take the time to do so. I will always be grateful for all that you do and
will pray for you every day. I will also pray for the loved ones like
myself that are left behind to constantly live in fear of what the rest of
our lives may hold. I applaud not only the soldiers, but the families of
the soldiers that make such a sacrifice. Thank You and God Bless. Meredith
Browning, Family Program Coordinator, Oregon Army National Guard
Message: Hey! Thank you to all
our wonderful troops who are fighting overseas right now! My brother is
deployed in Iraq right now, so I know what it is like to have a loved one
over there! Stay Safe and God Bless!! - Sarah
Message: I am a resident of Bend and have
had a brother and a son in the military and I know how hard it is to have
family and or friends in harms way. I am very grateful for all that you
are doing to protect our freedom and stop the killing of innocent people.
I am so grateful that I live in a country that values human life. You go
guys.
Message: To all Army, Marines,
Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard and Navy: Thank you so much
for being a part of the best the world has to offer and the best the world
will see. It's an honor to write to you just to let you know you and
your efforts are so appreciated. I know you're there doing a most
difficult task and you don't need to be reminded by us back home why you
are there. You have an awesome responsibility on your shoulders. I believe
you are fighting for freedom as much as anyone or more in any previous
wars. It could become a very dark world without people like you willing to
sacrifice to uphold the good in this world. Thanks again so very much for
being understanding enough of the value of the fight before you as well as
being so brave and courageous to continue to take the fight to the enemies
of freedom. You are all my heroes!
Message from a soldier: I
would like to recognize the great people of caring for troops and how well
they have treated me and my team members. I am deployed with the US
Special Forces in Afghanistan. We go to some of the most remote regions of
the country with the Afghan National Army. Some of these people didn't
even know the Russians had left the country, if you can believe that. The
look on the faces of these small children when I give them toys is
priceless. I will try to get picture back there eventually. I always make
sure the local people around here know where the toys came from, and that
it didn't matter whether we were Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or whatever,
because we are all human and every child deserves to simply have a toy,
especially those who live in WAR. Thank you very much. Where there is
despair you have helped to bring hope and happiness. - SSG Holmes
Message: To all that have come

with you in all that you do!!! I hope that all of you will be home soon!!!
Not only does your family miss you all, but your country misses you all!!
Take Care and be well!!! Lisa
Message: To all the troops and their
family members, I THANK YOU ALL! Your courage and patriotism is
appreciated, and you are NEVER overlooked. Despite the harsh criticism
that has been made over the war in Iraq and negative news, your sacrifice
is greatly appreciated. I am truly grateful for the decisions you have all
made to preserve our freedom. You are in our hearts and prayers, GOD
BLESS!
Message: First I would
like to say thank you! I'm originally from Vestavia Hills, AL...and now
live in Mt. Juliet, TN. I now know people from two different states that
are actively in the military or have just gotten back. And it is the same
attitude from every side... we are doing a good deed in Iraq. I'm proud to
know some of the special soldiers that are defending our country. God
bless ya'll! For the soldiers that are still in Iraq or
Afghanistan...thank you for your hard work and selfless duty! It's hard to
imagine people my age (I'm 22) doing something so heroic and so powerful
by changing and effecting the world. It inspires me to do so much more in
my life. Our soldiers are an inspiration to us back in the states. Please
stay safe! We are thinking about you and praying for you. Not a day goes
by that I don't pray for ya'll's safety and quick return! From my family
and friends here in TN--God Bless You!
Message: Michael, You come

not just your skill as a proud marine. WELCOME HOME. Its time. Mom
From one of our Soldiers: To
everyone at Caring For Troops,
Thank you for the package. I appreciate you sending it. I shared with the
other troops here and they appreciate as well. I will admit that I was
selfish and took the beef jerky and was the first one that read the ESPN
magazine. I appreciate you sharing your Oregon hospitality with this
Kansas boy and his troops. Please tell my cousin Eric Chandler
specifically, thank you. Thanks, CPT Daugherty
Message: I just would like to say

grateful to be an AMERICAN. I would not trade anything about my life
and the FREEDOM that I have here. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!

thank you for your critical service to our country. Despite what you may
see and read in the negative news media...your work is so very

have choices others don't have. What great freedoms! THANK YOU!

Message: I would like to say thanks
again to the troops for all of the efforts put out there in the field.
While my youngest brother is on the frontlines he is surrounded by others
like him that are committed to doing the right things for the right
reasons. I know that the bad press that the troops get at times are never
a true measure of all the good they are doing and it is important that you
all know that we know you are working hard for us!!!! Thanks Dan for the
hard work and supporting the troops. - Drew H.
Message: Dear Soldiers, My prayers
and thoughts are with you as you stand tall and proud. You are America and
we as Americans stand proud of each and every one of you! Each day I pray

hearts. God Bless each and every one of you! Thank you for who you are!

all.
