Press Release from Rep. Chuck Burley:

On March 2, Dan Hulbert and Marine Sgt. Brian Paul of Bend came to the Capitol to participate in a flag ceremony to fly the Caring for Troops’ Flag over the state Capitol. This flag, after being flown at Dan’s house during the Serbian conflict, was given to Sgt. Paul in the first goodie-box prepared by Caring for Troops. Since then the flag has flown in Kuwait, across Iraq and in Bend at the Veteran’s Day Parade and dedication of the Rex T. Barber Bridge. The flag returned to Iraq with Sgt. Paul on his second tour of duty. Sgt. Paul has since donated the flag to CFT to use as a display. You can see Sgt. Paul, Dan Hulbert and a second Marine, Travis, with the famous flag on the House Floor.  Pictures
